In the beginning of my sober journey, I could barely make it a few days—especially when the weekend rolled around. Counting days started to feel discouraging, so instead, I began tracking my sober firsts.
Every single one. Big or small.
My first sober weekend.
First sunny day without a drink.
First time meal prepping instead of pouring wine.

Why? Because each one reminded me that I could do it.
Even if I slipped, no one could take those moments away from me. I had done it once, and that meant I could do it again.

So don’t just count days—track your wins.
