What’s the difference between a sober coach and a therapist?
Therapists focus on your past and mental health diagnoses. As a sober coach, I focus on your present and future. We work together to build habits, routines, and mindset shifts that support your sobriety and your goals. Coaching is action-oriented, forward-focused, and collaborative.
Is this like AA or a 12-step program?
No. My coaching is not affiliated with any recovery program. While I support whatever path works for you, this program is rooted in holistic wellness, habit change, and personal growth—not a set of steps or rules. We’ll focus on lifestyle changes, daily routines, and tools that work for real life.
What can I expect from a session?
Sessions are 60 minutes and tailored to your needs. We’ll check in on what’s working, what’s not, and create an action plan for the week ahead. Expect honest conversation, practical tools, and personalized support. You’ll never leave a session feeling like you’re alone in this.
What is the 30-30-10 Method?
This is the framework I use in coaching:
- 30 minutes of movement a day
- 30 grams of protein per meal
- 30 oz of water per meal
- 10 pages of self-development reading or 10 minutes of journaling
- Plus: alcohol-free living and emotional wellness
